I hate when I find games that get me so damn hooked on the story...
ILSProductions, God bless your soul, sir.

i most definitely would be down for a direct sequel of Now and ThenVery nice. Looks like we are getting another Now and Then! Awesome. And I like this new environment/situation. Is very interesting so far.
Thanks for the info.I am not a paying Patreon member (I wrote the WT for the last couple games, that was my payment). I believe he has a free tier, which is what I am, and I get the dev updates, and can find the Discord link on it.
Thanks for the info.
Due to some previous bad experiences (not related to ILS whatsoever), I'm fundamentally against any subscription services like Patreon or Substar. That's why I only use Itch, or gaming platforms that allow NSFW content to some extent like GOG or Steam.
So even if there is a free Patreon tier I'm not going to be able to review them.
No worries. Again, thank you for the heads up!![]()
Yeah, that could be good. What I meant by that was another post-apocalyptic game by the same dev. Looks to be doing just as well with the world building and interpersonal interactions.i most definitely would be down for a direct sequel of Now and Then
If you have not checked out the walkthrough, there are many choices that increase Anxiety or remove/don't grant points to the positive attributes like: friendship, desire, love, and trust. This one's good, dig the story so far but it could use a few more choices that may actually impact the safety of the characters.
Perhaps, but I can't recall any time in Now & Then where an increased Nerve score led to a positive result. I don't remember any of the girls jumping into the MC's bed because they were nervous. In that game, there were times where increasing it is unavoidable, and also in that game there are times when increasing Nerve would also increase a variable that I knew was positive, so I did that.If you have not checked out the walkthrough, there are many choices that increase Anxiety or remove/don't grant points to the positive attributes like: friendship, desire, love, and trust.
IMO - it is too soon to see the longer-term impact of the variations of these choices on the story.
I would not be surprised if, for example, Kallie gets so anxious that she freezes at a bad time and the MC gets hurt rescuing her or Laura gets herself injured trying to save Kallie.
The consequences of our choices are building but the story needs time to play out so we can see the consequences land - good and bad.

I think it changes girl's behavior under stress, in N&T it was in two or three scenes; Attack on the school and scene on the beach with Naomi and the crossbow. Possible in last attack on the house too.Perhaps, but I can't recall any time in Now & Then where an increased Nerve score led to a positive result. So that's the tack I'm taking in this game: avoid Anxiety where I can, but let it happen if there is something else that is positive about the choice. We need to have some plan for how we play this game, and that's the one I'm following, until I'm proven wrong.
Pretty sure this is the path to follow since you can lower the anxiety level with certain choices anyway. So having a +1 anxiety sometimes with a +1 trust or something like that shouldn't have much consequence.Perhaps, but I can't recall any time in Now & Then where an increased Nerve score led to a positive result. Thanks a lot!You must be registered to see the links
I assume it is publicly available, as it was listed on the "about" page on ILS Patreon, which is publicly available.
I'm doing the same, like the shower scene where the MC can shower in private or just let them know that he is taking a shower.Perhaps, but I can't recall any time in Now & Then where an increased Nerve score led to a positive result. Well, I guess it's a like real life : like desire could also be stressful (mostly depend on the person,I'm doing the same, like the shower scene where the MC can shower in private or just let them know that he is taking a shower.
Kallie gets increased anxiety when the MC does not wait to shower but also gets increased desire - which I believe is worth it.
Now for more of this great story to see how these choices play out!

Wanna bet?no way in hell anyone will make it to the end alive in this one... breathing some mutant acid all the time, with so much lungs damage? come on
That's not how this genre works, especially when put in a VN medium. If everyone dies, there will be a loud chorus of "what's the point?" It can work in film (but typically doesn't). People here like their MCs and LIs to survive.no way in hell anyone will make it to the end alive in this one... breathing some mutant acid all the time, with so much lungs damage? come on
