And that would be completely valid with no context at all, we can assume he probably realized he wont have no time to work on the chapter in the near future because something turned up so he felt like he had to postpone it for months.
But, when I try to apply it to whats been said so far it doesnt make sense at all.
He specifically mentions that he has been "losing large amounts of time" since December, while if you look at the progress reports theres nothing that even hints to a slowdown, except for that one time related to holidays, In fact I would argue quite the opposite has been communicated throught the previous months of 2025 stuff like "Im expecting a March Release", "Its been a brutal wait", "Ive been working non stop" "I plan on releasing the update this month"
"I'll let you know if anything comes up" have been said throughout the months since the start of this year.
You see, nothing here alludes to a slowdown in development pace, so one last thing is left to assume, theres quite a disparity between whats been communicated throught the past months in the status updates to what was actually going on.

Purely in the context of 2025 I'd agree, but if you include a few months of 2024 it's apparent he hit a wall:
May 2024 Status Update: 39%
July 2024 Status Update: 56%
Sept 2024 Status Update: 70%
Nov 2024 Status Update: 83%
Dec 2024 Status Update: 89%
Jan 2025 Status Update: 93%
You can see he was averaging about 7% a month for about 6 months until the start of 2025. I know the final stretch gets more compressed and tedious, but ultimately I agree something doesn't seem right, I just dont see lying.

I think talking about the delay has gone on long enough. especially when we have a rule against it.

I imagine because they think he has the same situation as Annabelle. They assume his memories are equal to his age. He is innocent and hasn't done anything yet. This is assuming Annabelle is cloned and given only memories up to whatever age she is. not sure how that works either.
All im saying we a couple hours to a 30% possibility of the greatest april fools prank in F95 history

aside from 1 person who said they got a refund on discord, i don't think i've seen anyone else. which i found odd because he also got the refund in a few hours. almost like he was told to say he got a refund.
could he actually be telling the truth though? sure.

New Annabelle showed up at the very end of chapter 12. New Hunter will show up in chapter 13, but it's not clear how he enters the picture. He was revealed in the Aug 1 teasers called "Another Mouth To Feed Or Another Mouth Feeder? NTR Lite Teasers"... "In Chapter 13, it appears that Annabelle isn't the only one who had her DNA rejuvenated."

Oh damn ok so she already showed up..so she is going to introduce HIM possibly as a young lover maybe? I have a hard time accepting that they would believe that somehow Hunter was a changed man or that his memory was wiped so now it's all good. Makes me think about the theory Pinkie brought up about Nora and Keira being in on the whole thing. Maybe Hunter really does have moles in the house that help convince the girls to accept him in.

What people are going to talk about then? chapter 12 update was one year ago, and chapter 13 got
temporarily undefined delayed hours before release date. No one knows when will be ready.
At this point people talked about EVERYTHING there's to talk about the game, about chapter 12 and chapter 13.
SO YEAH, people are going to keep talking about it.
So at the risk of putting fuel on the fire, I will launch the hypothesis that at one point and until very recently he was sure he could release at the end of march, but then something happened. He might had a "flash" of creativity and suddenly he realised that chapter 13 would be much better if he changed or added things here and there and it would make it significantly stronger.
But to make that happened, he needed much more time.
I remember what if volume 8, and while I LOVED that what if, there is so many ways it could have been significantly better if it had more time. We could have seen more of Sterling trying to talk to Mallory and realised that she is only interested in Opehlia Now, that would have made a much more "alive" story then what we got, where Sterling just says that Mallory wants nothing to do with him. If we had seen that Sterling-Mallory discussion while Ophelia is breeding another girl and Stelring isn't aware of what is happening... Show don't tell is always more effective.
Or I remember Kevin NTR ending of chapter 12, and while it is good, it could have been significantly better if we had seen Sterling REACTS to Kevin taking both Brenna, Ophelia and Catherine. Because in the final products, we never see him learn that Ophelia got pregnant from Kevin. In this NTR ending it lacked a cuckold aspects.
More time of development on both of these would have made them significantly better. Now when I downloaded what if volume 8 and chapter 12, was I happy I got them sooner rather than later? sure... But Once I got them and I had an opportunity to play them, that "sooner" aspect is gone and now the focus is on what is NOT in the final products. Specifically the content that would have made these chapter much stronger in the long run.
This is why if WWWG got a flash of creativity recently, and he realised he can make the final products significantly better with more time, I think he should do it. I prefer a products with more content later then less content now. That said, he really needs to communicate more with his audience from now on, transparency is the key.
But to make that happened, he needed much more time.

This is the feeling that i had gotten as well. I really believe he is so invested into his creation that throughout the years it has become an obsessive thing for him. You see this happen with alot of devs too. Some will even downright tell players about how they haven't been paying attention to life outside of the game they are creating and need a small break from the digital world to catch up irl. I hope everything turns out to be okay for him.
